My show at Davidson County Community College will open on Tuesday, January 20th, from 4-6:00 PM in the Mendenhall Administration Building. 17 of my prints are on display through May. Several other artists will also have their work displayed. I hope to have a good turn out. A lot of my family is from Davidson County and Rowan County. This will be the first time a lot of them will see my work.

Joe - I was at B&N in Hickory yesterday while your student, Kris Huffman, was hanging his show. He left before I got a chance to 1) compliment him on his work - I thought the photos were great. As a born and bred NYC girl that might have had something to do with it. 2) I am involved in an exciting arts-related event happening next Friday 1/23/09 - The Art Stroll in Downtown Lincolnton. Work from over 70 professional & local artists will be featured at 15 locations (e.g. makeshift art galleries) throughout downtown Lincolnton. The event is free and many locations will have complimetary refreshments (including wine tastings) as well as live entertainment.
